Slaves of Change

The season of human flesh bartering has passed

Or has it?

The season of human auctions has passed.

Or has it?

The season of slave ownership has passed.

Or has it?

The season of dividing families has passed.

Or has it?

The season of chains has passed

Or has it?

The season of fear and trepidation has passed.

Or has it?

The season of child labor has passed.

Or has it?

The season of name calling has passed

Or has it?

The season of intimidation has passed

Or has it?

The season of segregation has passed

Or has it?

When will our people be disenthralled?

When will our people not worry for their children?

When will our people not have to hesitate?

When will our people be free to walk down the street?

When will our people find acceptance?

When will the dream become reality?

When will the season of freedom finally arrive?
