Tentacles of red surround her iris
Soppy, limp eyelashes droop
Eyebrows furled
Deep creases in the sockets of her eyes
Chin lowered
Shoulders slumped
Hands quivering
Steps unsure
Exhaustion is evident
She lays her body down
Renewal slips in
She wakes in the morning
A day older
To Blue skies
New hope
Clear vision
Open to opportunity
